Georgia Danielle Lee makes her independent filmmaking debut with
Plenty of Fish, a short romantic-comedy featuring a quirky interracial couple chronicling their day with a camera phone. Next up is Crossing Lines: a 100% AM/BW community effort documenting REAL love, relationships and issues from Asian Men and Black Women from all across the globe.

A self-taught screenwriter, Lee’s interest in screenwriting and filmmaking began in early adolescence in her hometown of Staten Island, New York. Lee’s multicultural upbringing and newfound spiritual awareness renewed her interest in filmmaking and sparked her passion for screenwriting after years of formal education and inspiring life events. Lee utilizes true-to-life experiences and inspired surrealism in her writings.

G.D.Lee uses her screenwriting and filmmaking talents to bring social and spiritual issues to light in mainstream media. Issues such as racism and prejudice, socio-economic stratification, intercultural differences, and the meaning of love are among the plethora of what she sees in the world everyday and wishes to explore both in front of and behind the lens.

Down-to-Earth and metaphysical, serious and satirical, and even sometimes with a bit of whimsy, Lee’s writings run the gamut in genre and origin. But find unity in their focus on relationships – relationships with ourselves, with each other, and with our higher power.
